The Indian Supercar, DC Avanti Coming Soon in India

DC Avanti is coming soon in Indian car market, expected to get launched in the month of July. This 2 seater coupe car is coming with very stylish and sporty looks with the dimensions of 4565 mm length, 2120 mm width and 1200 mm height. It will be based on a space frame with roll structure.

Engine and Performance

The company will power the Avanti luxury car with a 2.0-litre 16V turbocharged petrol engine, generating maximum power of 250 bhp and peak torque of 340 Nm. The car will get a 6-speed manual transmission system taking this car to the top speed of 250 km/h. With help of this powerful engine, the car can achieve the 100 kmph mark in just 6 seconds from a stand still position.

Exteriors

The Exteriors of this car is fabulous, inspired from the Ferrari 458, which we can see clearly. DC might equip it with features like daylight LEDs, sleek headlamp design alongside massive, edgy and sharp curved rear and the funky muscles line on the side view of the car increasing the attraction. Its 19-inch wheel size will provide better gripping on road too.

Interior

DC Avanti will have comfortable leather seats with manual adjustment. It has latest touch screen infotainment having best Bluetooth compatibility with music system, AM/FM radio, GPS Navigation, CD player, MP3 Playback and DVD playback. It will get 6 speakers to make the drive entertaining. The fabrication on seats and door trims, 3-spoke steering wheel and instrument cluster is very decent that making it very luxurious.

Safety

For safety purpose, there will be rain sensing wipers and rear washer & wiper. The car will also get power steering, latest braking system with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and parking sensors making the control easier for the driver.

Verdict

This India made first super car with exclusive design, powerful engine performance and luxurious interiors will definitely offer some resistance to the overseas brands like Audi, BMW, Mercedes and others. However, to see the actual competition, we must wait a bit more. Also, if you're interested about the price, then as far as the market reports are to be believed, it would be available at an expected price tag of INR 35-40 Lac, Ex-Showroom.
